WVRST needed buzz for the opening of its downtown Toronto restaurant and its all-sausage menu. We created award winning posters (Archive, Communication Arts Design Annual, One Show) and threw a proper sausage party. Foodie bloggers, restaurant critics and other cultural influencers were sent invites that were actually T-shirts packaged as sausages. If they wore their shirt to the restaurant on opening day, they would enjoy a free sausage of their choice.

As part-owner, I helped shape Something in the Water into a whimsical, highly distinctive brand. From its identity and packaging design system, to Colonel Troutman, our brand ambassador. Since opening in 2019, we've made it into the LCBO (6 times), opened a second location in downtown Kingston, and were named Best New Brewery in 2022 by Canadian Brewers Choice.
